The EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (BSL) is physically in France but uniquely co-managed by both France and Switzerland, with separate French and Swiss exits. The airport serves three countries: Switzerland (Basel), France (Mulhouse), and Germany (Freiburg). The airport is ~10km away from the conference center, the Messe Congress Center Basel (Messepl. 21, 4058 Basel, Switzerland)

Zurich Airport (ZRH) is a convenient alternative to the EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, particularly for international travelers, as it is Switzerland’s largest airport with extensive global connections. Zurich Airport is located approximately 85 km (53 miles) from Basel. Travel between Zurich Airport and Basel is straightforward and efficient via Switzerland’s rail network. Direct trains run frequently from Zurich Airport’s on-site railway station to Basel SBB (Basel’s main train station), with typical travel times of about 55–70 minutes. From Basel SBB, local tram or taxi connections provide easy access to the Messe Congress Center Basel.
